Two numbers pay for care: €59 for a consultation and €29 a month for what follows. Neither ever covers medicine, and the only other cost anywhere is the morning blood panel on the testosterone pathway, which the laboratory prices and charges rather than us.

If the doctor says no
You get an answer either way
Your pre-assessment reaches a Malta-registered doctor before you meet, and on the call the honest answer is sometimes no. When that happens you hear the reason, you are told where to go instead, and you are not put on a plan. The consultation still took place, so it is not refunded. What it bought you is a doctor's time and a straight answer rather than a treatment you should not be on, and a service that never says no is not a medical service.

Can I cancel?

Weight loss and hair growth are sold as a 3, 6 or 12-month course with 3 months as the minimum, so starting one commits you to the course you chose rather than to a month you can end at will, and we say so before you pay rather than after. Sexual health and testosterone are bought a consultation at a time, so there is nothing to cancel: if you do not book again, nothing continues and nothing is charged. Your rights under Maltese and EU consumer law apply whichever of the three you are on.
What about the medicine itself?

What if the doctor declines?
You hear the reason honestly, on the call, and where to go instead. The consultation still took place, so it is not refunded; what it bought you is a Malta-registered doctor's time and a straight answer. You are not put on a plan, no course starts and nothing further is charged. A service that never says no is not a medical service.
