Carisma Medical is delivered online, by video. It is not a physical practice and it does not receive patients at an address.

Carisma Medical is a doctor-led online medical service for adults in Malta and Gozo. You complete a free online pre-assessment, then a Malta-registered doctor reads it and sees you on a 20-minute video consultation. The doctor reviews, decides and prescribes where treatment is appropriate.

The service is for adults 18 and over, resident or located in Malta or Gozo at the time of their care.

Carisma Medical is not for emergencies. If you are unwell now, call 112.

Every consultation is with a doctor registered with the Medical Council of Malta, the regulator for doctors practising in Malta. A doctor who sees you is bound by that Council's standards and by professional secrecy, and prescribing is theirs to decide. A decision not to prescribe is a clinical decision.

If you have a concern about your care, write to info@carismaaesthetics.com and mark it as a clinical concern. We acknowledge complaints promptly and aim to respond in full within 14 days. If you remain unsatisfied, you may raise the matter with the Medical Council of Malta.

The doctors who consult through Carisma Medical are regulated by the Medical Council of Malta.

Data protection is supervised by the Information and Data Protection Commissioner (IDPC), Malta. How we handle personal and health data is set out in our Privacy Policy.

Medicines are regulated in Malta by the Malta Medicines Authority, and pharmacies dispensing a prescription written through this service are regulated under Maltese pharmacy law. We are neither a pharmacy nor a wholesale dealer, and we do not hold or handle medicines.

As a consumer you may raise a complaint with the Office for Consumer Affairs within the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs Authority (MCCAA), and consumer claims may be brought before the Consumer Claims Tribunal. Your statutory rights under Maltese and EU consumer law apply whatever this page says.

Two fees pay for care, and both are fees for a doctor's time and attention rather than for any medicine:

• €59 for a 20-minute video consultation with a Malta-registered doctor. Your consultation is paid for in advance. That fee is €59 whenever a consultation takes place, on every programme.
• €29 a month for ongoing care between consultations, which starts only after your consultation has taken place. When your prescription runs out, you ask for a renewal from your account; your doctor reviews it and, if it is still right for you, the new prescription is emailed to you. It applies to weight loss, hair growth and mental well-being. sexual health and testosterone carry no monthly fee at all, because they are bought one consultation at a time.

Where a programme is sold as a fixed course, the course is the consultation once and then a month of care for each month of the term, which comes to €146 for 3 months, €233 for 6 months or €407 for 12 months. The term of each programme is set out in our Terms of Service, and prices are as displayed at the time of purchase.

On the testosterone pathway the doctor arranges your morning blood panel. The laboratory prices and charges that separately: it is not part of the consultation fee and it is not one of ours.

Prices are in euro. The price you see is the price you pay, including any tax. If the doctor prescribes, the medicine is a separate purchase. Collect at any pharmacy in Malta or Gozo. You pay the pharmacy directly, at its own price. We never sell or ship medicine.

If the doctor prescribes, the prescription is issued as a signed digital document and emailed to the address on your account as soon as the doctor issues it, usually straight after the consultation. It is also available in your patient portal. You take it to any pharmacy in Malta or Gozo.

Prescriptions issued through the service are private prescriptions, dispensed by independent pharmacies in Malta and Gozo, which set their own prices. We are not a pharmacy, we receive no payment from pharmacies, and no fee above has the cost of a medicine inside it.
