How can a doctor assess my hair online?
From your answers and four photos: hairline, temples, crown, and the back of your head as a natural comparison point. Male pattern hair loss is a visual, well-mapped condition, and photo grading is how modern clinics assess it. If your photos suggest something that needs in-person care, your doctor will say so instead of prescribing.
What results should I expect, honestly?
Expect to keep what you have; that is the primary, realistic goal. Some men see thickening or regrowth over time, and none are promised it. Nothing visible happens before 3 to 6 months, and a brief increase in shedding in the early weeks is normal. Your photo reviews at 3, 6 and 12 months keep the whole thing honest.

What about the side effects I have read about online?
Good question, and it deserves a straight answer. In a small number of men, some oral treatments can affect mood or sexual function. This is exactly why a doctor reviews you first, why we ask about your mood history, and why alternatives exist for men who prefer them. You will know the honest picture before you decide, and if anything changes during treatment, you stop and message your doctor straight away.
Why do you ask about my mood before treating my hair?
Because European regulators updated safety guidance in 2025, and because your answer changes which options your doctor offers, not whether we help you. Men with a history of low mood are steered to alternatives. That is the system working, not a barrier.
What if my hair loss is patchy or sudden?
Then it is probably not pattern hair loss, and a course is the wrong answer. Patchy loss, sudden shedding and scalp inflammation are different conditions that deserve an in-person examination. Our assessment screens for them and points you to the right care instead of selling to you.
Am I too young or too old for this?
You must be 18 or over. Beyond that, earlier is genuinely better, because treatment protects what is still there. If your loss is already advanced, we will be honest that medicine has limits, and talk to you about what is realistic before you spend anything.
Why is it sold as a course, and can I stop when I want to?
Sold as a 3, 6 or 12-month course. Hair answers slowly, so we do not sell it a month at a time and let you conclude too early that nothing happened. The shortest course is three months, so this is not a month-to-month plan you end at will, and the reason for that is clinical rather than commercial. At the end of your course you decide whether to carry on, with your photo reviews in front of you rather than a hunch. If treatment stops being right for you medically, tell your doctor and they act on it. One honest note: the benefit is tied to staying on treatment, and what was kept tends to resume its course after stopping. That is biology, not a sales tactic, and the decision is always yours.
