That is decided by your doctor, for your body and your situation, and EU rules rightly do not allow prescription medicines to be advertised to the public. What we can say: the established treatments in this area are well studied, there are options for use as needed and options for daily use, and your doctor will talk them through with you privately before anything is prescribed.

When it is prescribed after proper screening, for the right person, it has a long and well-understood track record. That screening is exactly what your review is for, and it is why we ask about your heart and your other medicines. You will also get clear safety rules in writing, including the ones that matter most: chest pain during sex means stop and call 112, and an erection lasting more than 4 hours means the Emergency Department, same day.

Only if you tell them. There are no branded deliveries, no calls to your home, and no waiting rooms. You collect from a pharmacy you choose. Many men tell their partner in their own time, and some find the conversation easier once the problem is being handled. Both are your call.

Sometimes it is not. Stress, anxiety, relationships and sleep all play a part, and sometimes the physical side is a symptom of something else that needs attention. Your doctor will tell you honestly which is which, may combine treatment with practical guidance, and will refer you onward if that is what your health actually needs.
